„Stay Valuable in the AI Shift“ – What Wasn’t Discussed at ECS 2026

In early May, around 3,000 Microsoft professionals gathered in Cologne for the European Collaboration Summit, and as always, INOSOFT colleagues were there. The focus of this episode: Microsoft’s opening keynote and the presentation “Staying valuable in the AI shift” by MVP Chris O’Brien—two talks that describe the same AI landscape yet approach it from opposite directions. We discuss what was said, how it was said—and, above all, what wasn’t said. In the end, we ask what this means for our work.
